Welcome to Berkhamsted Town Council's web site.

Here you can find information about this historic market town situated on the edge of the Chiltern Hills. There are also links to many local organisations and to the District and County Councils. Berkhamsted Town Council has 15 elected councillors, 5 for each of the three Wards in the town. You can contact them individually by accessing the councillor's page. The Town Council is gathering information on the need for Residents Parking Zones in Berkhamsted. There are no current plans to introduce them but if you would like to comment please complete the survey form on the Transport page and return it to the Town Council.

The East of England Regional Assembly is currently consulting on Scenarios for housing and ecomomic growth in the region to the year 2031. The consultation runs until November 24th. Details can be found at www.eera.gov.uk or the document can be viewed at the office of Berkhamsted Town Council.
