Here you can find information about this historic market town situated on the edge of the Chiltern Hills. There are also links to many local organisations and to the District and County Councils. Representations on Dacorum's Core Strategy Pre-Submission Draft (planning document). The Town Council has submitted its representation. A copy is available in the office.

The Town Council has set up a working group to plan celebrations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee next year, such as a street party, tea dance or fete. If you're from a local organisation or club, or would generally like to get involved, we'd like to hear from you.

   The Town Council took over the lease at Lagley Meadow Youth Centre, Douglas gardens,

    in August 2011. It has been refurbished inside and is available for hire. For details please

   open days held at the Court House, the exhibition was displayed at the Town

   Council office at the Civic Centre until the 15th July. The consultation has now closed and
